Car Care Tips :  Caring for your wheels

If some areas of the wheel is still dirty, you may have to turn to a strong solvent such as oil-Flo Safety Solvent clean to the point where these areas. Test the solvent on the wheel, not shown, to ensure that the end is not damaged. Spray the solvent on a cloth and clean the dirty area. Again, a gentle brushing may help. Rinse thoroughly, wash the car with cleaning solution / water and dry.

Wheel your coat of quality wax, Carnauba to protect them if the paint and / or clear coated wheels will fade a little or a dull look, 3M coated Imperial hand, may help to clean the clear coat fade. I / paint applied to a soft cloth and gently rub away the frustration and movies. If it does not do the trick, put a generous amount of 3M's your clothes and add a small amount of P21S Finish Restorer Metal Polish (about the size of your little finger nail), Poland, the frustration with this combination. Combination P21S/3M usually get the job done.It is a pump spray wax that is hard to chalk and easy and requires only a light polish.

If your wheels as a technology  of the index, the manufacturer may suggest that the protective coating of petroleum jelly. I have tried this and have chosen to use Carnauba wax, petroleum jelly instead, I found that attract dust particles, all within a half mile. Free-wheel drive, that have stains are difficult to restore. Most manufacturers do not recommend using any metal polish on aluminum wheels, it will remove some of the anodization and change the appearance slightly. If you can live with the elimination of some of the anodization and changes in appearance, Poland is a soft metal such as metal finish P21S Restorer Polish may help remove some of the stain. Test against any metal on the back of the wheel prior to use. When I do a coat of Carnauba wax.

You can be sure that your wheels are painted / clear coated or anodized, how? Completion of the coating / clear anodized finish is smooth to the touch and feel a little rude. If you have any doubt, one method of testing is completed, touch the tip of your tongue to the wheel. If you get a taste of metal, it is often not as good technology. If you have tasted almost nothing, it's usually clear coat. (I bet that $ 1.00 will get you to lick your wheels).
